Are you thinking of installing board & batten on your next project? Consider our rough-sawn channel lap--or "inverse board & batten"--instead! Milled laps on opposing sides form a 1" channel between two rough-sawn boards. Nominal size is 1x12; actual dimensions are 7/8" thick x 11.5" wide. Rough-sawn face reveal is 9-3/4" wide. Approximately 1.1 linear feet required to cover each square foot = $2.50 per square foot.
