highlights inspired by
French country
styling.

exclusive to Springwater. Safe
 waterborne dye, contains no
harmful chemicals.

cocoa, just how mom
used to make it!  Rich
medium brown.
Finish Notes:

¹ Naked: No paint, no stain, no dressing of any kind! Naked is a good choice if you want to apply your own light stain or paint. Note, however, that
no pre-prep is done on Naked finishes. If left uncoated, Naked finishes will yellow with age. Cost is the same as Stained finish. Naked can
also be ClearCoated upon request (after which it's not Naked, or course, but maintains the name for simplicity's sake!).

² Colours: Includes any of our seven standard colours above and Stained ClearCoat, all inspired by finishes that would have
been found on Early Canadian furniture. All colours (and Stained ClearCoa
t) feature a clear semi-gloss top coat that offers a rich, smooth finish.
All finishes are eco-friendly (LEEDs-compliant) water-based products that won't yellow with age.
Contrasting Finish is optional on many items (see below).

Contrasting Finish Option:  Also called Two-tone or Stained Top, this option gives a more sophisticated look.
The 'body' on many of our pieces can be painted while the top / lid remains Stained with ClearCoat.  This finish is standard on some pieces
(eg. Small Hall Table #515, Candle Table #319, etc) and can't be done on some other pieces so please consult detail pages in
our
Products section before ordering.  There is no extra charge for this option.

³ Premium Finishes: Two layers of paint provide an added antique effect on Double Paints, giving the impression of multiple coats and decades of use.
There is a small price difference -- we're painting the item twice, after all! -- but well worth the extra cost to get an authentic Early Canadian look.
Each piece of Springwater furniture is available in the finish of your choice.  Our palette of ten colours is inspired by
old-fashioned milk paint, each with its own unique personality and charm.   Edges are 'rubbed' for an antique look.  See
bottom of this page for a detailed explanation of each finish.
Actual colours may not be exactly as shown here.
Sorry, custom colors are not available.  Colour sample boards are available to dealers upon request.

We offer three categories of finishes:
Naked ¹
Just as the name indicates:
